Cleansing your hair and scalp is an important part of any skincare routine. Shampooing can remove dirt, oil, and product buildup. To shampoo properly, start by wetting your hair with warm water. Apply shampoo to your scalp, using the pads of your fingers to massage it into a lather.
I recommend once per week using a clarifying shampoo to remove build-up from the scalp and hair. Note when using a clarifying shampoo, shampoo 2 times, leaving the second on for a minute to cleanse both scalp and hair.
Conditioning will help to hydrate and detangle the hair. After shampooing, apply conditioner to your mid-lengths and ends then to your scalp if your scalp is dry gently towel dry your hair.
If needed before styling, use a leave-in conditioner.
